For this fortnight I have 100 books which were added between July 2013 and September 2014.
Previously on “Offloading the TBR” -> #1 | #2 | #3 | #4 | #5 | #6 | #7
And now, it’s Culling time!
If you see any books you loved on the cull list and think I should read them, I AM SO SORRY but I can’t! I read through a hundred synopses for this post, and depending on various factors like availability of book, intent to commit to long series, etc – I know I don’t want to read them anymore.
Started with : 1855 books in TBR
Ended with : 1771 books in TBR
What I took off the list
A lot of contemporary fiction removed, but this time my TBR also took a hit from all the sequels and finales I had to remove from it. Some of them I just can’t devote time to reread the previous books again, and I might do that in the future, but it looks unlikely right now, so I just removed them for my peace of mind.
Contemporary fiction
Historical fiction/Steampunk
Mystery/Thriller
Horror/Zombies
Urban fantasy – Vampires/Werewolves/Dragons
Urban fantasy – Fae
Urban fantasy – Angels/Demons
Urban fantasy – Mythology/Witches/Paranormal romance

Not continuing the series
For some of these, I don’t even have access to the previous books again.
Wait once has a novel???
