Our Teachers are Dating! Vol. 1Our Teachers are Dating! Vol. 1 by Pikachi Ohi
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

A sweet yuri romance between two teachers!

Hayama-sensei and Terano-sensei are two women who work at the same school…and just started going out. They’re a little shy about their budding relationship, but their co-workers–and even their students–are rooting for them as they bumble their way through love!

Warnings: nudity and sex scene

A sweet and fluffy story between two teachers who have just started dating, Our Teachers are Dating is a workplace romance with supporting characters that cheer them on from the sidelines and openly. Hayama and Terano just went on their first date, after three years of attempts by the English teachers to get them together – their romance is new, and there’s still a lot of awkwardness and shyness, mainly on Hayama’s part. It is suggested that this may be Hayama’s first relationship as she feels she can finally be herself, plus there is a lot of implied parental expectations that had restricted her in the past or something. She is also encouraged by the students of he class to confess her love to Terano. There is a good mix of personalities – Terano being the bubbly yet bold one, and Hayama seeming cool but actually quite easily flustered. There is some misunderstandings and uncertainties to add tension, but also some wholesome communication to make up for it. Also, biggest plus point is that there is no homophobia (so far) in the series, and everyone is just so happy for them, so like that really ups the fluffiness! The artwork is cute, and there’s no unnecessary sexualization of the characters, so that’s another win for it in my book.

Is it diverse? sapphic main characters
