June 2020 Wrap-Up

Anyway, on a personal front, I have tried to do more art this month. In fact, you will find a treat for y’all at the bottom of this post.

Other News

  • I was going to participate in the blog tour for The Storyteller’s Daughter in July, but considering the whole mess with the blog tour hosts (FFBC), I won’t be doing a tour post, but will instead be doing just a review.
  • I did a series of portraits of queer characters from my recently read books (well, most of this year and some of past  year) for Queer Pride Month. I made each one in a day, as initially I was trying to do one artwork a day (obviously I learnt from my hubris), with about 3-5 hours for each, so they aren’t all that polished. Only the one for Girl Serpent Thorn took me 2 days because too many elements for me to draw. I think I might redraw/polish up some of the ones I liked later on. I’ll be adding these fanarts to a page on this blog, too, but here they all are. Please give them some love!
