This week’s theme was an interesting one! “Titles that would make good band names” Like, I am not great at naming things, plus I am not that good at identifying music genres, but I still tried?!
Nevernight
Genre: metal
Actually, there’s an Italian metal band by the name of Never Night already, so it was natural this title would top the list!
Sharp Objects
Genre: alternative rock
There’s an existing pop collective called The Sharp Things (so close!) but I feel the name makes more sense for alternative rock.
Six of Crows
Genre: hard rock
The name is pretty badass, sure, but The Dregs would also be a good name for a band!
The Degenerates
Genre: punk rock
I think the themes of being outcasts would be great for this genre?
Muse of Nightmares
Genre: folk music
I imagine something along the lines of Florence + The Machine for this name
Cruel Beauty
Genre: K-pop
Girl band is what vibes I get from this title as a band name
Ghostly Echoes
Genre: Alternative Rock
Something like Coldplay? BTW, a close enough match is an album name (Of Ghostly Echoes) from a metal band End my Sorrow.
Lady Midnight
Genre: death metal
It would make for a cool band name, for sure!
Code Name Verity
Genre: pop rock
Coming up with this one’s genre was difficult, but I felt like something pop rock would be suitable?
Ruthless Gods
Genre: death metal
Like, obviously!

Code Name Verity caught my attention right away. Kind of made me think of Danity Kane. Band name approved!
I had Wicked Saints on my list but was really tossing up with Ruthless Gods! I think both would make really good band names 😂 Love Muse of Nightmares and Sharp Objects as well! Great list 😀
