Book Blogger Hop was created by Jennifer @ Crazy-For-Books in March 2010 and is currently hosted by Coffee Addicted Writer. The hop’s purpose is to give bloggers a chance to follow other blogs, learn about new books, befriend other bloggers, and receive new followers to your own blog.
This week’s question is:
How do you decide the order of reading your books?
@ruthsic
So, I have two systems – for books off my shelf, I just read whichever strikes my mood at that particular moment. For galleys, however, I go by which has the earliest release date, and then by pagecount (I do shorter books first), what was the genre of the book before it (I usually don’t do the same genre in a row) and finally, if I need to read a prequel first.
@spiravirgo
For me it’s a spur of the moment. I usually let my mood swings dictate my reading. Sometimes it’d be something brand new or a book I already own but never read before, or I tackle a title a friend is swooning over to understand their obsession about it. However, if I commit to a readathon or a buddy read, everything else is on an immediate hiatus.
