Setting
It is set in the fictional town of Crestfall, Ohio, where an obituary writer narrates all this. There are supernatural elements in the town like the Angel of Death making an appearance, a sentinent bicycle, and is in turns sweet, humorous and also heartbreaking. It is like Pushing Daisies in Night Vale, if you want a comparison
Style
The Obituary writer is narrating it as he writes about the life of the person but it is not a single person narration; dialogues are spoken by other characters’ voice actors. There are gothic noir tones in his story, but his voice tone is more like cheerful so, yeah, it is an interesting experience.
Voice acting/Sound effects
It is fantastically produced, and while it is mostly a narration, it has plentiful sound effects in the background to suggest the scene and stuff. So it is like a voiceover over a dramatization sort of narration?
