Top Ten Tuesday: Books I’ve Read That I’d Like In My Personal Library

Top Ten Tuesday banner

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, wherein each week bloggers list out their Top Ten.

This week’s theme is for books you loved reading (through borrowing, library, galleys, etc) and want to have in your personal library. As I’ve said before, I don’t own a lot of the books I read – I don’t have the kind of fortune for my habit – which means I most of my books in my reading lists are galleys, or through subscription services. I do sometimes get myself physical books for my personal library, but it is a small fraction. Even though I am not very big on rereading (*glances at my TBR mournfully*) I do love to see books on my shelves. If I could, I would have all the books I rate above 3 stars, but since I can’t these are the top ones I would nevertheless love to have:

Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicles

Tsubasa: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, Vol. 1
Technically, I would love to own the entire series (I only have the last couple of volumes in print). I do want to reread it someday, and I want to have it so that I can occasionally open and admire the artwork.

Muse of Nightmares

Muse of Nightmares (Strange the Dreamer, #2)

Okay, part of it is that because I read this as an audio edition, I don’t have the print edition to pair with my existing copy of Strange the Dreamer

Daevabad trilogy

The City of Brass (The Daevabad Trilogy, #1) The Kingdom of Copper (The Daevabad Trilogy, #2)

I would definitely love to own this series (the first two of which I read as galleys) in print form, too. Beautifully written stories, and beautiful covers, to boot!

The Empress

The Empress (The Diabolic, #2)

I have the first book as a print ARC but I read the second as a digital galley. Feels like I should have the complete collection.

If You Could See Me Now

If You Could See Me Now

I read this years ago via library, and would love to have it as a print book!

An Enchantment of Ravens & Sorcery of Thorns

An Enchantment of Ravens Sorcery of Thorns

Just the beautiful covers alone are enough to make me want to have it in print (I read the first as a galley, the second as an audiobook), but the stories have definite reread potential and would make a fine addition to my personal library.

Which books would you love to add to your personal library?
