Top Ten Tuesday: Books On My Summer 2019 TBR

Top Ten Tuesday banner

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by Jana @ That Artsy Reader Girl, wherein each week bloggers list out their Top Ten.

Do you have seasonal TBRs? I don’t usually care for seasons – for me my TBR is mostly what upcoming galleys I have, plus any new releases I can get my hands on. With all the releases I am looking forward to in the next few months, there are some I have galleys for, which make up my summer TBR:

New books by authors I love

Teen Titans: Raven The Never Tilting World (The Never Tilting World, #1) A Treason of Thorns Wicked As You Wish (A Hundred Names for Magic, #1)

New-to-me authors

Spin the Dawn (The Blood of Stars #1) The Storm Crow (The Storm Crow, #1) Gods of Jade and Shadow The Babysitters Coven (The Babysitters Coven, #1)

Sequels

A House of Rage and Sorrow (The Celestial Trilogy, #2) These Divided Shores (Stream Raiders, #2)

Which books do you plan to read this summer?

  1. I don’t really have seasonal TBR’s – like you, it’s just what I’m in the mood for and what arcs I have due. I am on a contemporary kick right now but that can happen to me just as easily in the dead of winter lol

Super jealous that you have Babysitters Coven. Couldn’t even request the arc in Canada – ugh! I hope it’s super good and look forward to the review!

  2. “Spin the Dawn” is getting SO much hype. Not sure if it will be a must-buy-ASAP read for me, but I’m curious about it – especially since it has Mulan comparisons!! Hope you enjoy all of these summer reads. 🙂

  3. I also don’t have a seasonal reading list, but I love reading these even when I’m not participating (I just published another author interview on my blog instead). You might want to take a look – Jane Davis is an amazing author!

  4. I don’t really care for seasonal tbr’s. I don’t even usually stick to a monthly tbr. Way too much of a mood reader. The’ye just so fun to make though. I took the complete opposite approach compared to you, putting a bunch of books I have owned for way too long on my list.
