Will I do it again in 2019?

Nope. I didn’t check in with the group to ask if they even have the challenge this coming year, but even if they do, I think I am going to keep prompt-based challenges for monthly readathons only.

Will I do it again in 2019?

I was going to, but then the challenge page I had bookmarked led me to an empty page. Seems like the post was taken down, and well, as I said before, I already have enough challenges this year, so I will not do it in 2019. Instead I’m doing the Late-a-thon challenge in January.

Series to Finish challenge

Progress: 22/24 series

I had split the goals into 12 new (as in, started in 2018) series and 12 old (started before 2018) series, but eventually read only 9 new series and 13 old series. Will I do it again in 2019?

Yep. It was fortuitous that the sign-up page went live just yesterday.

Series to Finish is being hosted by Anna @ Reader and Proud.

The goal for the challenge is to complete series; it does not matter if you only have one book left or ten, the important thing is to finish them in 2019. Similarly, the amount of series you’re aiming to finish is not important; I’d like this challenge to be as chill as possible so as long as you try to read and complete more series, you’re already a winner!

Since I didn’t complete it this year, I am once again setting the same goals in 2019 – 24 series in total, with 12 series started in 2019 and 12 older series. I don’t have a TBR at the moment  because, well, I can’t plan a reading list for an entire year!

What’s In a Name challenge

What's In A Name 2018 logoProgress: 6/6 challenges

Who woulda thought that a 6 prompt challenge would stump me?! I  barely got done with this in the nick of time.

  • The word ‘the’ used twice – The Good, the Bad and the Undead
  • A fruit or vegetable – Apple & Rain
  • A shape – Circle of Shadows
  • A title that begins with Z – Zojaqan
  • A nationality – Anna and the French Kiss
  • A season – On a Summer Night

And so, that’s all ! Updates will be over at 2019 reading challenges

I am so excited I even have a block of shelves ready on Goodreads for all 14 of them:
