Heya, folks, I am here with a fresh new tag! I found this on This Story Ain’t Over (go over and check out her booktube!) who is also the creator of the tag. It is inspired by the Ariana Grande single, and I hope you have as much fun doing it as I did.
Name a book that you said “thank u, next” to, i.e. DNF’d (did not finish).
I know it seems weird since I loved The Wolves of Mercy Falls and am generally a big fan of Maggie Stiefvater’s writing, but I just couldn’t get into this book. It was a vastly different style than the series it is from, and I didn’t like the shift, as well as the directionless plot.
Name a book that taught you love (i.e. a book you loved)
This was a tough question, because there are so many, so I went with my default answer.
Name a book that taught you patience.
Definitely had to go through this to get to the good stuff, ACOMAF.
Name a book that taught you pain.
Give ’em a break, FFS.
Name a book that you loved at the time of reading but in hindsight you do not like as much anymore but which you still learned some other quality from.
On first read, I had adored this book a lot, but a couple of years ago I tried to read it again and didn’t really feel like doing it. Still, I learned a lot about siren legends and went searching for more due to this book.
Name a book you’re currently talking to, i.e. have the hots for.
I’m reading it in audio and I am loving it, especially all the voices by Steve West, and also the slowly building story.
Name the book that gon’ last – the book of you – the book that helped you love yourself a little bit more.
I identify a lot with Adam Parrish, and his character development here was something that I needed to see.
Feel free to tag yourself; please give credit to the creator.
ouuuh !! quite the interresting tag, thanks !
