Hey guys, I am down with a cold/something (so blog might be slow the next few days but I’ll try), but how can I forget to bring you this week’s tag?! I saw this tag over on Steph’s blog, and it was created by G-Swizzel.
1-What was the last book you DNF?
I couldn’t tolerate the writing beyond a third of the book. I might one day force myself to complete it, as it was a galley.
2-Last book you reread?
3-Last book you bought?
Gosh, it has been so long, I actually had to go check my order histories. The last one I bought was Sightwitch, for a friend, as a Valentine’s book exchange gift this year.
4-Last book you said you read but didn’t?
In my defense, I told my friend I had read it when she was flailing over some recent development, and I was saying I needed to catch up on the series, having read only one volume. But when I went to check my reading list on Goodreads, I realized I never read it! I only added it to my reading list, and may have come across some screencaps on the Tumblr tag, and thought I had read it.
5-Last book you wrote in the margins of?
Gosh, maybe in my school textbooks? (Which was half a lifetime ago) I don’t like writing into books, not even textbooks, as I got older. I would rather use a post-it or use one of those translucent color stickers for annotation.
6-Last book you got signed?
7-Last book you lost?
I don’t remember ever losing any of my books? They are my babies!
8-Last book you had to replace?
See: above answer. Also, if I ever lost a copy of a book, or it got damaged, I am not going to bother with replacing it. I have limited funds for buying books, and I am not going to waste it on getting another copy of a book.
9-Last book you had an argument over?
*thinks hard* This may not exactly be the last, but it is the one I remember so: I had an argument with someone who didn’t like the characterization of Lila Bard in Shades of Magic (gasp! blasphemy! I KNOW) and that other characters cut her way too much slack. Of course I had to jump in and defend the pirate of my heart.
10-Last book you couldn’t get a hold of?
I am constantly in search of books whenever I am making up my monthly TBR so this may not be exactly the last one: I was looking for a ebook of A Discovery of Witches.
Feel free to tag yourself; just link back to me (I want to read your answers) and the creator (give them credit)!
