Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme created by The Broke and the Bookish and now hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl wherein each week bloggers list out their Top Ten.
Today’s topic is libraries or bookstores one wants to visit. Look, I am a simple mortal. I will probably never visit all of these in my lifetime, but a girl can dream, right? Most of these places are on my travel wishlist purely because of the aesthetic beauty.
Trinity College, Dublin
If you look at the dictionary definition of library, this would probably pop up next of it. It looks like what you would imagine a library life – all old charm and neverending stacks of books!
Musashino Art University Museum and Library, Tokyo
I missed visiting this while I actually lived in Tokyo, because I saw about this recently! Talk about missed opportunities! The ‘forest of books’ aesthetic is calling me out to definitely go there the next (hopefully soon) time I visit.
Bodleian Library, Oxford
This famous one has been featured in Harry Potter (The Restricted Section is the Duke Humfrey’s Library, The Divinity Hall – the picture above – is the ceiling for the Infirmary), as well as A Discovery of Witches.
Stuttgart City Library, Germany
Such a futuristic looking library. And all that white gives it an open and inviting feel.
Tianjin Binhai Library, China
Speaking of futuristic looking libraries, this library boasting 1.2 million books is visually appealing.
Which libraries/bookstores do you wish to visit?
Great list! I also want to visit the Trinity College Library. It looks so beautiful. I hope you get to visit these someday!
My TTT: Bookstores + Libraries I Want to Visit
Trinity College and the Bodleian Library are some of the most beautiful ones I’d love to visit. These are so beautiful, great list!
Trinity College was on my list this week too! I’ve seen the Bodleian but never actually been inside and I would love to.
