Stacking The Shelves #27

Stacking the Shelves is a weekly haul meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality. It is about sharing enthusiasm for the new books added to our shelves – be it physical, ebooks, galleys or borrowed from the library.

This week had some new galleys being approved on Netgalley, which made me very happy. I do hope, though, that I get to read all of them – I have made certain I don’t overextend the galleys per month.

The Perfect CandidateThe Perfect Candidate by Peter Stone

A political murder mystery, with an intern involved in the investigation of his fellow staffer. It promises conspiracy and is already giving me The Fixer feels.

Light YearsLight Years by Kass Morgan

After The 100, I was naturally excited for Morgan’s newest book! It is set in a Fleet Academy in space, where a group of cadets have to bond and save the day!

What IfWhat If? by Anna Russell

A poetry book about a boy living with OCD.

Evenfall (Shadowfire, #1)Evenfall by Gaja J Kos and Boris Kos

Not that it wouldn’t have come up on my radar eventually (it being a YA fantasy and all), but the thing that drew me to it is its cover – designed by an artist I follow, Coralie Jubenot.

Skyward Volume 1: My Low-G LifeSkyward Vol 1 by Joe Henderson

A speculative dystopia of a world where gravity suddenly halved two decades ago.

4 new galleys from Netgalley, 1 from Edelweiss.

What new books have you added to your shelves? Any of these you are excited for?
