Readathoning in July

Since June’s single readathon sort of worked for me (I was still reading the last book on the last day until, like, the last hour, so it was still a struggle) so I’m a bit optimistic about going for slightly more intense goals for July. I still couldn’t join #BecauseDragonsRAT and Retell-a-thon (both of which I was looking forward to) because I couldn’t fit my books in their prompts and I don’t want to stress myself out with additional books from my TBR. Ultimately, these three readathons were the ones I felt were doable in July for me:

#SciFi July (month-long)

Goals: Read 5 sci-fi books

SciFi July is being hosted by Kathy at Books & Munches. Since I already have some upcoming sci-fi galleys to read, I thought it would be a perfect fit for my ‘read only galleys’ plan.

Hullmetal Girls The Final Frontier: Stories of Exploring Space, Colonizing the Universe, and First Contact Contagion (Contagion, #1) Nyxia (The Nyxia Triad, #1) Nyxia Unleashed (The Nyxia Triad #2)

Graphic Novel read-a-thon (month-long)

The Books and Tea Discord Club is hosting a month-long graphic novel read-a-thon with relaxed rules – you set your own goals and stuff. You can join the discord group or just post on the official hashtag #booksandteaBC.

Goals: Catch up on Demon Prince of Momochi House manga series

24 in 48 readathon (July 21-22)

I will be taking part in the #24in48 readathon this time too (shucks, I don’t even remember how many times I have participiated so far!). The TBR for this is not fixed because I want to see what mood I’ll be in that weekend. I do have a couple of books in mind

What readathons are you planning to do this month?
