Stacking the Shelves is a weekly haul meme hosted by Tynga’s Reviews & Reading Reality. It is about sharing enthusiasm for the new books added to our shelves – be it physical, ebooks, galleys or borrowed from the library.
First, the review copies from
Netgalley
Kens by Raziel Ried
“Kens is the gay Heathers meets Mean Girls, a shocking parody for a whole new generation” Honestly, I am excited to read a retelling of Mean Girls
Edelweiss
The Past and Other Things That Should Stay Buried by Shaun David Hutchinson
Another of Hutchinson’s urban fantasy-in-real life novels, this one is inspired by Pushing Daisies (*screams*) in which a friend dies and comes back.
Fury by Rachel Vincent
Finale of the Menagerie trilogy
Under my Skin by Lisa Unger
A psychological thriller about a woman trying to solve the unsolved murder of her husband.
Others
This time, too, I deferred the weekly post to two weeks because there was only one book last week. And I’m getting better about requesting books – only 6 in the last two weeks. Mostly it has to do with the fact that I’m avoiding any books being published until October, since I already have more galleys than I can consume, releasing until then.
What new books have you acquired? Any of these you are excited for?
