This wasn’t as successful as my previous BoutofBooks, but I am happy nevertheless. I stuck to my rules and read 4 complete books off my TBR pile goals. I had started with The Last Star, after finishing that goal, because it was the weekend and I was in a reading frenzy (plus my Sunday plans got cancelled due to rain), but left it after 10 pages because that books need more than my restless attention. It needs all of me present. So I picked up Blackhearts because it was more akin to the mood I was in – adventure, but despite my efforts I couldn’t finish it for the readathon deadline. Anyhoo, it was a great readathon, and I made most of the reading time I had.

I still need to finish Stars Above. I’ve read two or three of the stories (particularly the one at the end), but need to read the rest. That is an awesome page count, so congrats!
